(2) Travel to/from Edinburgh Airport.
A 24 hour bus services operates from Edinburgh airport to the city centre. It is a very regular service, every 10 minutes during the day and even every 30 minutes during the night.

It is not essential to book the bus in advance, however delegates wishing to do so can by following the link above.
(3) Travel from other UK Airports
Glasgow - A regular direct rail service operates from Glasgow Central station to Edinburgh Waverley station; approximate journey time is 1 hour and costs around £10.
Newcastle - A direct rail service operates from Newcastle station to Edinburgh Waverley station; approximate journey time is 1 hour 30 minutes, prices range from £20 to £50 depending on time of travel.
Manchester - Rail services operate from Manchester Piccadilly station to Edinburgh Waverley station; approximate journey time is 4 hours 30 minutes, prices range from £50 to £100 depending on time of travel.
