Plasma Science and Applications (PSAC) Award

The Plasma Science and Applications (PSAC) Award was established in the 1980's and the first award was presented at ICOPS 1988.

The recipient selection is administered by the IEEE Nuclear & Plasma Sciences Society and 2012's award will be presented to Prof. Andrew Ng for his 'outstanding research and visionary leadership in plasma research, particularly in the area of Warm Dense Matter, as well as his many contributions to the plasma science and applications community' during ICOPS 2012.
